Crossing Africa's Grand Canyon: The Blue Nile Gorge

Today I drove north toward Gojjam and crossed the Blue Nile Gorge (215km from Addis). Calling it "Africa's Grand Canyon" isn't an exaggeration. The scale is massive! The drive down into the gorge and back up the other side is a white-knuckle experience with some of the most dramatic mountain views I've ever seen in my life.
